DOHA SPARTAN RACE

Thanks for showing interest in joining our Spartan Volunteer Program. Spartan Race is all about teamwork, and without our "Army of Red", we wouldn't be able to host races for the thousands of participants that come out to tackle the course. So please take the time to carefully fill out the application below, and our Volunteer Coordinate will contact you to take the next steps!

VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION DETAILS

Here’s all you need to know about your role as a volunteer at the next Spartan Race! 

Note: You may not volunteer and race on the same day.

Race Day Instructions: 

• After the race meeting, we will have a volunteer’s group picture.

• Volunteers must wear the Spartan T-shirt, which will be provided on the race day during their volunteering shift to ease identification by Spartan staff members and racers.

• You may be asked to assist with the final setup process, which may include lifting items.

• All volunteers need to be a part of the festival breakdown after the race.

• Any volunteers who are not present with their group leader after the race meeting for final checkout will not receive free race entry or certification.

• Dress code: Remember that our race will be outdoors; please make sure you wear comfortable clothes, a hat, and sports shoes.

• The meeting point on race day will be at the volunteers' tent, located at the event's entrance.

• Volunteers must sign in and sign out to receive their complimentary T-shirt, ticket and appreciation certificate.

• Volunteers must remain in the appointed location for the race duration unless moved by a team leader or Spartan staff member.

• Each group will be briefed separately, and there will be a team leader assigned; if you have any doubt or need any clarification, they will be your guide.

• Each volunteer will be appointed to a specific area and should not leave that area. However, if needed to leave for any reason, please coordinate with your team leader.

• If any racer/spectator asks a question that you do not have an answer for, please do not provide them with the wrong information; send them to one of the Spartan staff members around the area who will be wearing blue staff t-shirts.

• Once the race is over, group leaders will bring their team to the volunteer tent for post-race teardown tasks.

• All volunteers should report to the volunteer tent after they finish for final checkout.

تفاصيل تسجيل المتطوعين

إليك كل ما تحتاج معرفته حول دورك كمتطوع في سباق سبارتن القادم!

ملاحظة: لا يجوز لك التطوع والسباق في نفس اليوم.

تعليمات يوم السباق:

- بعد اجتماع نهاية السباق، سنقوم بأخذ صورة جماعية لجميع المتطوعين.

- يجب أن يرتدي المتطوعين بلوزة سبارتن ، والتي سيتم توفيرها يوم السباق لتسهيل التعرف على أعضاء فريق سبارتن والمتسابقين.

- قد يُطلب منك المساعدة في عملية فك وتحميل السباق والتي قد تشمل حمل أغراض ثقيلة.

- يجب أن يكون جميع المتطوعين جزءًا من فك وإزالة المهرجان بعد السباق.

- المتطوعين الذين لم يحضروا مع قائد مجموعتهم بعد اجتماع السباق النهائي لن يحصلوا على بطاقة مجانية أو شهادة.

- قواعد اللباس: إن سباقنا سيكون في الهواء الطلق ؛ يرجى التأكد من ارتداء ملابس مريحة و قبعة وأحذية رياضية.

- ستكون نقطة الالتقاء في يوم السباق في خيمة المتطوعين عند مدخل السباق.

- يجب على المتطوعين تسجيل الدخول والخروج للحصول على بلوزة وتذكرة مجانية وشهادة تقدير.

- يجب أن يظل المتطوعون في الموقع المحدد طوال مدة السباق ما لم يتم نقلهم من قبل قائد الفريق أو موظف سبارتن.

- سيتم تقسيم كل مجموعة على حده، وسيتم تعيين قائد لكل فريق؛ إذا كان لديك أي شك أو كنت بحاجة إلى أي توضيح ، فسيكونون دليلك.

- سيتم تعيين كل متطوع في منطقة معينة ويجب ألا يغادر تلك المنطقة. وإذا لزم الأمر للمغادرة لأي سبب فيرجى التنسيق مع قائد الفريق.

- إذا طرح أي متسابق أو متفرج سؤالاً ليس لديك إجابة عنه ، فيرجى عدم تزويدهم بالمعلومات الخاطئة ؛ تحدث مع أحد موظفي سبارتن الذين يرتدون بلوزة زرقاء في منطقتك.

- بمجرد انتهاء السباق ، سيحضر قادة المجموعة فريقهم إلى خيمة المتطوعين للقيام بمهام فك وإزالة السباق

- يجب على جميع المتطوعين التوجه إلى خيمة المتطوعين بعد الانتهاء من تسجيل الخروج النهائي.

• Volunteer t-shirt (handed at the start of the day)

• Meals (breakfast and lunch) on the event day

• Refreshments during the event day

• Umbrella for shading by the obstacle

• Certificate of Participation

• Exclusive volunteer t-shirt handed after satisfactory completion of shift

• Complimentary Open Sprint ticket to the next race passed out after satisfactory completion of shift

• Bragging rights

Feel free to bring any snacks or drinks with you on the day.

Spartan's #1 priority is to put on safe, enjoyable, and physically challenging races as we return to hosting events. 

• Therefore, all event staff, volunteers, participants, and attendees are required to be vaccinated.

• Sanitizers will be available throughout the festival area.

• Face masks/coverings are no longer required while running on course but are mandatory within the festival area.
